The Lumineers Collaborate with SAS Movie Studios on New Music Video "Where We Are"

THE LUMINEERS X SAS STUDIOS

Denver, Colorado-based folk-rock band "The Lumineers" was founded in 2005 by lead vocalist and guitarist Wesley Schultz and drummer Jeremiah Fraites. The two musicians began by working together with bands located in New York before eventually performing on their own. After deciding to relocate to Denver, Schultz and Fraites began to gather new members for their own band, recruiting musicians Maxwell Hughes, Jay Van Dyke, Ben Wahamaki, and Neyla Pekarek. The Lumineers released their first studio album in 2012 titled "The Lumineers (Japan Version)" which was met with instantaneous praise. The album drew the attention of those in the music industry to the band, highlighting their potential and jumpstarting the group's tremendous career. Through Schultz's strong, compelling voice, listeners from all audiences were captivated by The Lumineers' music. The vocals alone will leave a lasting impression on you, not to mention the piano, guitar, drums, and synths, all of which are played by Fraites.

"Where We Are" is a song off of The Lumineers' most recent album titled "Brightside." After the album's release, the band delighted their audience when they released the song's official music video to their YouTube channel in January 2022 where it already has over 600,000 views!

WHERE WE ARE -
BEHIND THE SCENES

On December 18, 2021, The Lumineers partnered up with SAS Movie Studios for their new music video "Where We Are" filmed in Downtown Los Angeles. Band members and creators Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites knew they wanted their music video to be eye-catching and something that hadn't been seen before in the music industry and decided that SAS was the studio that could bring their vision to life. Through every phase of production, SAS was there to provide the band with any equipment needed to create a unique and entertaining music video, even going so far as to suspend two halves of a car in the air! The number of crew members necessary to bring The Lumineers' dream into reality was staggering, however, SAS is always up for a challenge no matter the cost, and using one of the many SAS sound stages around Downtown Los Angeles, their crew worked hard to create the imaginative music video that you see on The Lumineers' YouTube channel.
